BrainGuide is fully compliant with the the DICOM 3 standard. Full support of DICOM 3

• C-FIND, 
• C-GET, and 
• C-MOVE.

DICOM miniServer: Please note that BrainGuide has it's own internal DICOM miniServer. Thus it not necessary that a DICOM server be installed at your institution. If your institution's imaging workstations are DICOM 3 compliant, then BrainGuide can receive image data sent directly from the imaging workstations to BrainGuide using DICOM 3 over your hospital's network.
