SPECT: Import Image Data Folder: If you do not already have a folder containing ftped image data files, then we suggest that you create a new base subfolder called BrainGuide/Images (or another informative name of your choice ) where ftped image data files can be stored. We recommend the following subfolder hierarchy for organizing ftped patient image data:
Ftp your SPECT (trans-Axial) and/or MRI (trans-Axial T1) image data files to the appropriate storage folder. Import: Click-once the Import button. A new window "Import A Study from File" displaying the contents of the BrainGuide folder will be opened. Single File Study: Locate and double-click the image data storage folder (your previously created or the new BrainGuide/Images folder) in the "Import A Study from File" window. You should see the ftped SPECT brain image data files in this folder. In the image data storage folder, click-once on the SPECT study you want to load and analyze. The file information will appear in the bottom part of the window. Please check that it is correct before proceeding. Multiple File Study:
Locate and double-click the image data storage folder (your previously created or the new BrainGuide/Images folder) in the "Import A Study from File" window. You should see the ftped MRI brain image data files in this folder. In the image data storage folder, click-once on any one file that is part of the MRI study that you want to load and analyze. BrainGuide will automatically collect all the files in the folder matching the selected study. The multiple file information will appear in the bottom part of the window. Please check that it is correct before proceeding. In the "Import A Study from File" window, click-once the Open button. This will import the SPECT / MRI data file into BrainGuide and start the analysis / viewing. The imported file will be added to the "Patient Catalog" in the main BrainGuide control panel on the right side of the screen.
