BrainGuide™, part of the Galileo™ medical imaging software suite developed by Advanced Biologic Corp. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for the low-cost, high-performance Windows PC platform is a set of advanced brain image analysis modules. The design of BrainGuide, guided by Hippocrate’s instruction, follows six key principles: Unlike current brain imaging research software (SPM 99, AIR, and others) the original clinical images are never modified in BrainGuide, via brain warping and / or other spatial transformations. This eliminates the danger of introducing algorithm-generated image artifacts into the processed image, which could mislead the clinical radiologist into making a misdiagnosis.
MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC EXCHANGE Corp. develops advanced medical image analysis software - Galileo: BrainGuide + LungGuide. The Company works closely with leading clinical and research radiologists to identify key needs in SPECT / PET and MRI image analysis and provides timely software solutions that enhance clinical productivity.
